Hi, I’m skylr!

I grew up in the rural Northern parts of California. Growing up, I didn’t really feel connected to the world around me. I would often use arts and crafts as a way to create my own. Even then, I was still very precise about everything I made, even if it was just a house made of cotton balls, cardboard, and hot glue.

As I went from teenager to young adult, I didn’t take my art career very seriously, convincing myself I might not be good enough. I then moved on to other schools that I would soon quit, as I found the career paths didn't align with what I wanted to do.

Now, as I continue through my mid-twenties, I realise it’s time to nurture my real passions. I want to make sure my art is more than just a hobby.

I enjoy trying all different forms of art, but I truly love digital design, content creation, and ceramics. I’ve tried many forms of art over the years, which has given me so much knowledge to problem-solve my way through a new project.

I’m very grateful I have the time to pursue my art career, even if it just ends up being a side gig.
